While the Ravenslight Creek series is warmer than it is dark (I like to call it cozy with real stakes – forgive the vampire pun), it does go to some real places. If you'd rather know that before you go in, below are the content warnings for each book.

A Visitor's Guide to Guarded Vampires (Ravenslight Creek #1)

• Emotionally manipulative and controlling parents, estrangement from parents
• Some on-page violence and character death (not graphic)
• Vampire attack and attempted physical assault
• Livestock death (aftermath only, not graphic)
• Grief and reference to a parent’s death before the book begins
• Non-consensual memory alteration and the threat of it
• Mention of missing persons and confinement
• Consensual blood drinking
• Brief mention of fat-shaming
• Two open-door sex scenes (sensual rather than graphic) with consent negotiated on page (2–3 heat level)
• Profanity
